The Empress Splendor

A High-Impact Hardwood Tree

Our fast-growing trees reach maturity in just 10 years. They are non-invasive, climate-friendly, and can restore degraded farmland. Their unique properties have earned them the title of “nature’s miracle tree”.

Rapid Growth

Empress Trees produce commercial hardwood in 10 years, enabling fast, high-volume production.

Natural Regeneration

After harvest, Empress Trees regenerate naturally, allowing up to 5 harvests without replanting.

Carbon Sequestration

Empress Trees grow quickly, effectively capturing carbon through their advanced photosynthesis.

Demand for Lumber puts Forests at Risk

Demand for lumber is projected to quadruple by 20501, putting immense pressure on native forests and causing a significant risk of tree species extinction. Traditional trees like cedar take decades to mature, creating a supply gap that we aim to fill with faster-growing alternatives.

Where Impact and Profit Meet

Every year, World Tree brings in a group of investors and plants Empress trees on their behalf with vetted farmers. The farmers provide the land and labor to grow the trees, we provide the training and management expertise, and investors provide the funding.
‍
Once the trees reach maturity (8-12 years), we harvest the trees and sell the lumber. We then distribute 30% of the profits to our investors, 50% to the farmers and we retain the remaining 20%.
